This Whale Gulley IC Shower Pump Kit uses innovative, built-in Intelligent Control to operate only when water is present and needs to be pumped away from an on-board shower. This pump operates in a fully automatic manner. The Gulley IC senses when water needs to be pumped, and delivers electrical signals to activate the pump. The compact single shower automatic gulley saves space by eliminating the need for gravity drainage. The system is easy to install and delivers service-free operation as there are no moving parts to clog or burn. It also provides fast drainage, pumping up to 5 gallons (19 liters) per minute. It includes a plug-and-play Gulper IC electric waste pump and compact Gulley IC with 13 feet (4m) of cable. The pump will deliver a long service life as it self-primes, can be run dry without causing damage, and it has a soft start for its own protection. It also operates with low-current controlled switching to prevent switch failure from high currents. The 12V DC pump weighs 3.5 pounds (1.6 kg), connects using 16 AWG cable, and uses a 10-amp fuse. Its outlets have barbed connections of ¾-in. (19mm) and 1-in. (25mm), and the materials in contact with fluids are glass-filled nylon, Santoprene®, and stainless steel.
