The PFERD COMBICLICK® Backing Pad (Hard Hardness) is engineered to maximize performance, cooling, and efficiency when using COMBICLICK® abrasive discs on standard angle grinders. With a 4-1/2" diameter and 5/8-11 thread, this backing pad is compatible with most commercially available angle grinders and cordless angle grinders. The COMBICLICK® system combines a specially developed backing pad with a rugged quick-mounting fixture on the disc, enabling secure attachment and fast disc changes. The pad’s advanced cooling slot geometry significantly increases airflow, helping reduce thermal load on both the abrasive and the workpiece. This optimized cooling system can result in up to 30% lower workpiece temperature, up to 25% increased stock removal, and up to 30% longer disc life, while improving overall abrasive utilization. The hard density construction (CC-H-GT) provides very high edge strength, making it ideal for applications requiring increased contact pressure—particularly when working on stainless steel (INOX) and other demanding materials. For safe operation, do not exceed the maximum permitted peripheral speed of 15,800 SFPM or the maximum indicated rotational speed. Compatible with corded and cordless angle grinders, the COMBICLICK® backing pad delivers professional-grade durability, cooling efficiency, and productivity for industrial grinding applications.
