It causes less discoloration in aluminum and is tougher when used on steel. It also means the discs won’t rust, require less pressure to cut into the material, and have a high initial cut rate. Open-mesh construction prevents buildup of stray particles. Norton’s Speed-Lok TR quick-change fastener means you won’t have to slow down if you want to use a different disc. One twist allows you to remove your old disc and move on to another. Maroon is a medium grain of 100 to 150. Brown is a coarse grain of 50 to 80. The discs are 2 inches in diameter. Grit is the size of the abrasive grain impregnated into the nylon web.
