The Lightning 212 MTS is a 210 Amp Multi-Process welder designed for use in applications where portability and space are of concern. To maximize usefulness, the unit can operate on 120V or 240V (with reduced output on 120V). The Lightning 212 MTS features AC/DC TIG, Stick and Spool gun capability. The digital design and generously sized HD TFT LCD color screen allow the user to easily interface and make both process selection and setup simple. All settings are visible on a single menu page. There's no complicated scrolling or pop ups to navigate through just to see or adjust your settings. And if you need to, you can name, save and lock up to 30 user defined programs for future use. The units AC and DC TIG list of features give you everything you need, and nothing you don't. The unit features pulse in AC and DC up to 150 Hz, AC Balance Control, AC Frequency Control, Pre and Post Flow control, along with all the standard Start/End and Up/Down Slope controls found on many other Everlast products. For Stick you will find all the features you've come to expect from our brand like E 6010 capability, Hot Start and Arc force control. With up to 180A output, You will notice the smooth, stable arc quality allows you to weld with almost any electrode up to 5/32 with relative ease. As for the MIG capability of this unit, the unit features spool-gun capability. While the unit does not have an internal feeder, the unit can be used with our Parker DSP 240A spool guns. The unit is programmed to feed most wire types through the spool gun, including steel, stainless, and aluminum. It will even feed , 4" gas shielded (dual shield) wire up to .045" with the correct drive rolls. The long length of the spool gun makes the unit a perfect selection for a small shop or portable repair business. It is even at home in a small home garage where conserving space is important.
