Ingredients: Derived from Alfalfa Hay Description: Soil Mender Alfalfa Meal is suitable as a soil amendment for all kinds of plants, shrubs, and trees. Alfalfa Meal is very high in nutrients and contains tricontanol, a plant growth stimulant. Alfalfa Meal helps create larger flowers and increases cold tolerance. Use only as directed. Analysis: Total Nitrogen (N) 3.0% Available phosphate (P2O5) 1.0% Soluble Potash (K2O) 2.0% Application Recommendations: Apply as needed as a top dressing and water in or brew as a tea. Apply dry at 1 lb per 100 sq ft. Caution - if placed in the root zone, the rapid decomposition of alfalfa will generate heat which can damage roots.
